The Elective in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center is designed to provide a broad clinical experience for pediatric house officers and medical students. During their one-month rotation in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division residents and students work very closely with the faculty and staff. While the rotation is based in the ambulatory clinics, residents/medical students typically perform all inpatient consultations under the supervision of the attending physicians.
